From Our Director
Welcome to First Presbyterian Preschool
Tucked just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Naples, our preschool has long felt like a little neighborhood schoolhouse by the coast—a place where children are known, families are welcomed, and learning unfolds with joy and curiosity.
Since opening our doors in 1965, First Presbyterian Preschool has been a place where young children take their first steps into school life in a warm and caring environment. Each morning begins with smiling faces, familiar routines, and teachers who are genuinely delighted to see every child walk through the door.
Our classrooms are designed to nurture the whole child. Through play, exploration, music, art, outdoor adventures, and meaningful conversation, children develop confidence, creativity, and a love of learning. Just as importantly, they learn how to be part of a community—sharing, listening, helping others, and discovering their unique gifts.
As a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, our program is also rooted in simple Christian values of kindness, gratitude, and compassion. These values guide the way we care for children and support one another as a school family.
One of the things that makes our preschool especially meaningful is the sense of continuity in our community. Many parents who now bring their children here once sat in these very classrooms themselves. That kind of connection speaks to the heart of what makes this school so special.
Whether you are just beginning to explore preschool options or preparing for your child’s first day of school, we are honored that you are considering First Presbyterian Preschool. I hope you will come visit us, meet our teachers, and experience the warmth of our little schoolhouse for yourself.
Welcome in,
Amy Agnew
